We are deeply saddened by the passing of Lucy Sarneel who was associated with the jewellery department for many years. Lucy studied at the department under Onno Boekhoudt and graduated in 1989. She worked at the department as teacher, guest teacher, and the last years as supervisor for the trophy of the ‘Jan Hanlo Essayprijs’. Apart from her professionalism, Lucy’s enthusiasm, optimism and empathy will be greatly missed by both students and colleagues.
We wish her relatives much strength with their loss.
